Activities in Granada

Paragliding:

The natural scenario of the city is extremely beautiful and you will be amazed by the glory of nature but from a different point of view, from the top. There are several reasons why paragliding in Granada is a popular sport; the first being its fabulous weather conditions that seem to remain near perfect all year round. The other reason is that the services for paragliding in Granada are at par with international standards. Sierra Nevada is the most preferred spot for paragliding in Granada. However, there are other good spots to go paragliding in Granada too.

Paintball:

Paintball is a sport in which participants eliminate opponents from play by hitting them with paint balls shot from a compressed-gas-powered marker or paintball gun, powered by C02 or compressed air, which shoots paint balls. Paint balls are colorful gelatin capsules like big round vitamins, filled with a bright-colored, biodegradable (washable) liquid fill. The paint balls split open and leave a "splat" mark. A marked player is out of that game. Insurance statistics show that paintball is one of the safest sports, with fewer injuries per exposure than sports like tennis, golf, and bowling.

Due to Granada´s geographical location games can be played either outdoors as well as indoors and take various forms. An average, non-professional game of paintball usually lasts around five minutes to half an hour. After the game we can assure you that you'll be completely satisfied.

Canyoning:

Canyoning in Granada is available in various places, but we recommend the ones near Otivar in a marvelous location called Rio Verde, Almuñecar, Granada; with small lakes, jumps, rappels...and much more fun.The canyons are often cut into the bedrock stone, forming narrow gorges with numerous drops, jumps, beautifully sculpted walls, and spectacular waterfalls.
